Programs and help

Low-income Vermont veterans or families in financial crisis; Vermont residency is required. The state page describes a maximum payment and telephone application.
State guidance links National Guard education contacts, VSAC planning and veteran/family scholarship references.
Guard tuition assistance and private scholarships have separate rules. VSAC serves Vermonters generally; the page does not promise a scholarship to every veteran.
