Examiner requirements
Page 1 limits completion to a board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist; licensed doctorate-level psychologist; specified closely supervised trainees; LCSW under close supervision; or a nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, or physician assistant under close supervision and clinically privileged by VHA for the required activities. The supervising psychiatrist or psychologist must meet the Veteran, confer on diagnosis and final assessment, and co-sign. Read every qualification on page 1.
