Sciatic nerve symptoms and sciatica

Sciatica describes symptoms involving the sciatic nerve. Lumbar nerve-root irritation is one context; the diagnosed cause and area being examined determine which documentation is relevant.

Sciatica alone does not identify its cause, assign a nerve code or percentage, or require both a nerve and spinal questionnaire.
