Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP)

CIDP is an inflammatory condition affecting peripheral nerves and nerve roots. Its effects can include weakness and altered sensation; the examination and records establish the actual diagnosis and findings.

CIDP is distinct from an acute Guillain–Barré presentation and from a central nervous system diagnosis. A search term does not establish its cause, service connection or evaluation.
